January 6, 2009 - Happy new year. And to start this year with the right foot, thanks to the help of
Evgeny Romantsov, I have created a new section: Songbooks and Music sheets. So far, there is information on 8 songbooks, 2 music sheets and to top it all, the programme for the Filmharmonic 74. Not really a songbook, but didn't know where to put it, :-)

The World Should be Ours
and corrected lyrics to
Alaska, both
songs from Racco Monogatari
(The Story of a Raccoon) and also an update on the complete track
listings for that soundtrack release. Also, transcribed the lyrics

Plastic Tree. Still
need some reworking but at least is something ....

5th, 2005 - Happy New Year to everyone
! I hope you all started this brand new year in a great way.
After the long weekend I have been checking the changes that I made on
the last update and corrected minor things but found one major one. The
email address had an extra character, I am very sorry for that. It has
been corrected now. If you notice anything that needs correction in
typing or in the information provided please let me know, this is a
one-man operation and only thru the help of other users I can improve
this site.

29th, 2004 - A major redesign on this site
and a check on all pages is complete. The new navigation menu on the
left side will allow to add more sections as required. Compilations
have been separated from the Non
Soundtracks. Also check the
links on the headers on each sections that now have clips from covers
and they can direct you to that particular recording. Please let me
know if you have suggestions on how to improve this site !

24th, 2004 - The discography has
been updated with the information from Lai's latest cd: Le
Parisiens - Le Genre Humain Volume 1. Also many lyrics
from songs in english
and spanish
has been transcribed by me,
from the boxset. There
are still some minor corrections, so if anyone has something
to comment please do so to the email address provided in the
left side.
I also have transcriptions of two italian songs by Milva but I
need the help of someone who is familiar with italian
language, because these transcriptions will require a massive
correction !

12th, 2004 - According to an
Interview
to Nick Garrie (known on "Love in My Eyes"
track as Nick Hamilton), he co-wrote with Francis Lai the main
title for a korean movie entitled "Plastic Tree"
which was released last year. There are a
couple of references to other works with Francis Lai. Thanks

Stuff menu. So far, 12 soundtracks are
included and four songs not from soundtracks.

are celebrating the Maestro's 72th birthday. Let us toast for
his good health and the many happy moments we had and will
have more, listening to his music. Let's play some music from
the Maestro, while drinking a glass of vine with a good view !
I'm sure he is celebrating with his many friends with a great
view of the Eiffel Tower.

is on hold, let's hope things work out for this young

28th, 2003 - Mr. Francis Lai is
working on the music of a new Lelouch film Homme Genre and also had
composed a love theme for the movie Love and Freedom,
with orchestration of composer Marco
Werba and the addition of Werba's own themes also. The
music should be recorded early next year.
